40 Knots

40 Knots Sieg

Sieg

There is a very good winery hidden in the city of Comox on Vancouver Island. 40 Knots is a Hidden gem with a growig reputation. The winery is owned by Brenda Hetman-Craig and Layne Craig. Barbara and I have experienced the wonderful hospitality of the winery and enjoyed their wines. They have an excellent cellar

The one I am sitting here at home, simply relaxing and enjoying, is their 2018 Sieg. You good classify this wine as easy drinking a perfect patio wine. Right now it is a very nice by the fireside with a book wine. The Siegerrebe Sieg provides the flavours of rich tropical fruits. An Estate wine with fruit grown on the edge of the Salish Sea in Coastal Cool Climate glacial till soils without the use of synthetic chemicals, fertilizers or sprays.

40 Knots is one of the largest grape wineries in the Comox Valley and one of the largest on Vancouver Island. Located on 24 stunning acres, on a slope facing the Salish Sea, we craft wines distinctly shaped by a windswept, sun-soaked microclimate.

We recommend you look for 40 Knots wines and if possible visit the winery.
