Redstone Winery® is the latest venture by Moray Tawse and his award-winning winemaking team. Named for its red clay soil and large stones, the 38-acre Lincoln Lakeshore property was purchased in 2009 and is home to a newly opened hospitality centre and a locally-inspired restaurant.

Winemaker Rene Van Ede, after working 8 vintages as part of the Tawse award-winning winemaking team under the expert guidance of Paul Pender, head winemaker of Tawse, he is excited to take on the primary winemaking responsibilities at Redstone.

We firmly believe that great wine starts in the vineyard. Healthy vines yield quality fruit which in turn gives us a great starting point to make premium wines that are a true expression of our terroir.

Redstone 2013 Chardonnay

It was the purchase of the Limestone vineyards in Jordan that allowed Redstone the opportunity to produce their Chardonnays. The vineyard is 65 acreas with 44 acreas in Reisling and ony 2.5 in Chardonnay. Perhaps they should have done more Chardonnay after the high quality of these wines!
