Robert Bell's Wines of Canada

Crowsnest Vineyards

A Helping Hand

The winery is nestled in the Similkameen Valley on the Upper Beach near Cawston. Named after Highway 3 which is also known as the Crowsnest Highway. This site has a wonderful view of the surrounding Mountains and gorgeous evening sun.

The winery is a family run business under the guidance of Olaf, Sabine, Ann and Sascha Heinecke who purchased the winery in October 1998. The Heinecke family emigrated from Germany in 1994. Ann Studied winemaking at the Weinsberg Wein Schule.

Besides producing quality wines the Heinecke family redesigned the winery added a restaurant and bakery. So today in the time of need and a request for our nation to stay home the winery is able to offer delivery service for some of our essentials; wine and bread.

In our European Style Bakery, we are trying to bring you back to the Old World.
We are still making our breads the traditional style, which means mostly with our own Sour Dough and very little yeast, if any. We do not use any preservatives or other food additives.
We even bake some of our breads in our traditional Wood Fire Oven.

Also available are some nice treats Apple Streusel, Plum Streusel, Blueberry Streusel, Coconut
Cake, Cheesecake, and Poppy seed Cake.

Turnovers are one of my favourite desserts. Crowsnest offers Apple, Strawberry Cheesecake, Plum Danish, Blueberry Danish.

Sascha Heinecke is the baker.
