Welcome to our selection of Wineries to Watch in 2023. We have divided them into two pages this year. The East and the West.
The East is Ontario Quebec and the Maritimes. The West, Manitoba, Saskatchewan , Alberta and British Columbia.
As the number of wineries in Canada grows each year, it becomes harder to select the wineries we will feature. The task begins for 2024 immediatley after 2023 is published. There is no doubt that someone will be missed. Feel free to e-mail us your favourite winery.
In selecting these wineries our first consideration is wine quality. We may also look at the fact there is a new owner or new winemaker or even a new construction. Wineries that have just opened are usually not considered.
