Seven Stones Winery cultivates 20 acres of bench land overlooking BC´s spectacular Similkameen River Valley. Winemaker/Owner George Hanson has created award-winning French-style wines that capture the amazing terroir.
The winery is named after seven rock formations along the river representing aboriginal history.
Upon first arriving we roamed the ground taking pictures.
George came outside to say hello and guide us though a tour of the winery.
The Caves at Seven Stones Winery tell the story of an everlasting love. Built in the memory of his late wife, Vivianne Hanson, George said the building of the caves was a labour of love. Hanson co-designed the caves with his step-son, Colin Wilson.
There is a personal man cave leading to the residence. All in all it was a great tour now to taste some wines. George has a fine cellar of good wines please see Robert's selections.
