The Trip 2015
You can not get any farther south in the Okanagan than Lariana Cellars a boutique-style winery featuring small lot, handcrafted wines from Osoyoos, BC owned by Dan and Carol Scott. I found Dan working in the vineyard. Been new and small its a one man and one woman operation. Lariana is a named after Dan's parents, Larry and Anna.
We left the almost 30 degree temperature for the coolness of the tank room, which also acts as the tasting room. Notice the concrete tank in the photo used for Viognier. With the guidance of well known winemaker Senka Tennant two wines are produced Viognier and TWELVE a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Carmenere. I was impressed by their Viognier.
