Internationally renowned landscape and naturalist artist Kitty Doyle presents her art work of water colors. Kitty's work reflects her small town community roots, her love of nature and admiration for the great Blue Heron.

After spending twenty six years in Florida Kitty returned home to the Pacific Northwest, accepting a teaching position in the Delta School District, working with special needs students. She quickly realized the need for a creative outlet, after a six month series of lessons from local artist Nevin Pfaltzgraff, she found her outlet in watercolor. Now a vice principal working with autistic teenagers the need for creativity has become a centering influence in her life.

The history of the Pacific Northwest is important to Kitty and this is reflected in a series of paintings done to preserve the traditions and roots of the community she and her husband have embraced. The beauty and serenity of this piece of almost heaven provide an unending source of inspiration from the landscapes and cottages to the Great Blue Herons that feature prominently in her body of work.
