The first harvest 2003 of Baco Noir, Vidal, Cabernet Franc and Riesling produce a grand total of 150 cases, which is sold directly to local restaurants. The winery is owned by Catherine Langlois. Catherine was raised on a farm in Québec, and this upbringing prepared her well for the physical work in the vineyards of Burgundy. Her real vocation is in the soil and in 2000 she planted her six acre vineyard in Prince Edward County. Catherine’s hard work and genuine passion for her craft have produced many fine, award-winning wines.
The tasting room in 2003 was in the home's basement. They established a separate room soon after. Today they have a sparking new facility build in 2015. You can also enjoy your tasting outdoors in our beautiful outdoor gazebo tasting bar overlooking our vineyard. The tasting room is also home to resident artist Rita Thivierge contemporary art gallery.
A new winemaking and storage facility was build in 2014.
In 2015 Baco Noir Reserve Double Gold. They were also honoured to have been chosen as the 2015 LCBO Supplier of the Year for supporting business both with retail and licensee customers.
Look for a new wine FIZZ! This casual charming red is slightly effervescent with delicious fruitiness.
