The winemaking team is headed by proprietor John Skinner in close collaboration with Bordeaux-based consultant Alain Sutre, who defines winemaking protocol, advises on viticulture, integrates vineyard and winery, blends, and teaches. Okanagan's Michael Bartier, himself a award winning winemaker with a long and stellar reputation, is on site to implement Alain's instructions and along with cellar master Gabe Reis

The winery although still considered as new has developed a highly regard reputation for producing outstanding wines. Their 2007 Red Icon and 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon—have been awarded the prestigious 2010 Lieutenant Governor’s Award for Excellence In British Columbia Wines

Matthew Jukes (Quintessentially Wine, UK) says one of the most impressive Canadian red wines I have ever tasted refering to the 2007 Grown Red Icon. Cabernet Sauvignon, Mr. Jukes says a brilliant wine with pinpoint balance – totally and utterly delicious

Recently the winery won an astonishing 3 gold and ten additional medals at 2011 Wine Acess Canadian Wine Awards. The 2009 Estate Grown Red Icon, 2008 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 Estate Grown Syrah capturing the gold
