Malivoire Wine Company 2010 Stouck Merlot
Since planting its first vineyards in 1996 Malivoire Wine Company has estiblished a reputation for producing quality wines. Their limited production 2010 Stouck Merlot won the Gold at the Onatrio Wine awards.
The Merlot comes from the 5th generation Beamsville family farm of Malivoire Cellar Master Dan Stouck. Chock full of blackberry, black raspberry, black currant, black cherry and black plum notes with hints of herbal licorice and vanilla and dark chocolate, one memorable wine.
Noted wine author Tony Aspler writes:
A very tasty Meritage. Deeply coloured with a black fruit nose and savoury herbal notes. Full and rich on the palate with ripe blackberry and blackcurrant flavours. Satisfyingly long finish.
Wine Align says : Medium to full-bodied, with good grip and a long intoxicating finish.

Their Unoaked Chardonay 2012 Musqué Spritz also won Gold; as did their 2012 Gamay. Oaked Chardonay 2011 won silver as did the 2011 Old Vines Foch
