Mission Hill on You Tube
Seldom do I take the time to watch videos at You Tube. I understand it is a very popular pass time.
Apparently YOU Tube is the place to be. So congratulations to the marketing people at Mission Hill
who took the plunge on the Tube calling themselves Kelowna's finest winery. They put together a series of photos
into a slide show to establish their video theme.
I would prefer the quality of the wine to say weather a winery can or can not distinguish itself as the finest winery.
However we are taking about a video on a website. It was not the finest. Far too many repeated photos of stairwells and
staircases and a table and stairs and more stairs. Over and over again we saw photos of staircases, with photos of the barrel cellar.
Three times as many photos of barrels than the exterior, the grounds, vineyards and lake view combined.
For a moment I thought Mission Hill was an architectural design company promoting their building skills not a winery
telling us they made good wine.
The video was just over five minutes long and frankly after three minutes I was bored.
Perhaps I have just visited too many barrel cellars. I believe they could have made a better selections for their images.
Perhaps some people enjoying their wine on their beautiful grounds.
Mission Hill is a must visit winery. It is a magnificent place. The wines are just as good which is even more important. But in my view the they blew the Tube.
