Beaufort Vineyard and Estate Winery
5854 Pickering Road
Courtenay, BC  V9J 1T4

Beaufort Winery has received 27 additional medals for Beaufort wines in recent (2013) International and National wine competitions!

Owners Susan and Jeff Vandermolen can be proud of their achievements. They are putting the Comox Valley of Vancouver on the world map of wineries.

Located 8km north of Courtenay the winery has a great view of the Beaufort mountain range. The winery opened in 2008. Their logo is the Moai statues of Easter Island. Owners Susan and Jeff Vandermolen sought out a local carver, Stan Skuse (X-Dream Sculptures) from Campbell River, and commissioned him to carve their Moai

Beaufort's Guiding Principles

1. Craft World Class, small-lot, wines, from fresh, high quality grapes -- and offer for sale at a reasonable price.
2. Provide a warm, friendly, environment, and an enjoyable experience for our customers when visiting the Vineyard & Winery, and when doing business with us.
3. Have some fun in the process, and try not to take ourselves, or the wine business, too seriously.

The winery does produce some outstanding wines

2012 Beaudacious - Yummy blend of Schönburger, Ortega, and Pinot Gris - delicious, off-dry, aromatic white wine 94

Beau Nouveau 2012 - Crafted from Beaufort Estate-grown Marechal Foch, Leon Millot and Cabernet Foch, this medium dry red wine is unoaked, crisp and light, meant for simple quaffin.. a real fresh fruit filled wine -- 90
