About the Website Thank you for visiting our website. Wines of Canada was developed and designed by Robert amd Barbara Bell of Delta, British Columbia in 1992 The site functions on a personal basis, support is welcome as are suggestions and comments. Every effort is made to ensure our information is correct. Twice (or more)each year we contact the wineries to check their listing, requesting updates to ensure the information we have is correct. There are some who do not respond, therefore, we accept no responsibility for any misleading or incorrect information. Wineries are listed by province then by region and or appellation. We provide information on history and additional features and articles concerning Canada's wines and her wineries. Tourist information can also be found on the website. We recommend you look at our home page and sitemap to help guide you around the website. We are very lucky to have two volunteer reporters/ photographers working with us.. Fred Couch covering the Niagara Peninsula and beyond. We do not sell wine. We do not import or export wines. We do not represent the Government of Canada or any wine association in Canada. We are not associated with Canadian Vintners Association. When we started in 1992 there were 26 wineries in Canada that has now increased
to over 600 with the number increasing by the month. You will find us in constant change, we never stop trying to keep it updated. The industry is changing very quickly, if you find problems with the website please tell us so that we may make a correction We do not know which wine shops in your area carries Canada's wine. Please contact your local wine shop or the winery directly. Let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages. We cannot advise you on how to import wines of Canada into your country. Information and images on this website may not be copied. The space given to each winery depends upon information received. We can also design a website for your winery . We offer private individual tours of the BC's Lower Mainland wineries (max 4 people).
